Last week we kicked off our new 2012 educational seminar “Standing Justified” in Dallas, Texas. We were excited to have over 50 clinicians and rehab technology suppliers in attendance! “Standing Justified” is a CEU accredited program on standing and weight bearing that explores the health complications and cost resulting from immobility.
Does this interest you? We would be happy to have you as an attendee at one of our next seminars! Attendees of “Standing Justified” will be presented research that indicates a consistent standing program can mitigate these 
health risks. Specific topics include evaluating clients to ensure they are appropriate for standing, determining the best configured standing device, providing suggestions for writing effective letters of medical necessity and discovering resources available to appeal a payer denial.
“Standing Justified” is presented as an independent seminar and a partnering seminar with Freedom Designs. It’s offered in conjunction with their one day “Simply Seating” or two day “Seating: Bottom to Top” seminars. Attendees of “Standing Justified” will earn .1 CEUs (1 contact hour) for the one hour seminar and .2 CEUs (2 contact hours) for the two hour seminar.
