Altimate Medical Inc. recently received a banner from our parent company, Invacare, for scoring in the “Blue” at the recent Invacare Blue 2011 Safety Risk Assessment that was held in June. Blue is the highest level that can be achieved on a four level scale. The assessment reviewed our safety program and assigned different grades based on the safety practices and policies that are in place.
Altimate Medical’s initial assessment was held in January 2010 when we received a score of 777 out of 1000 points, which put us at the Green level (the second highest level a facility can achieve). During our second assessment in June 2011 we received a score of 883 which is a 106 point improvement from our initial assessment and also moved our company into the Blue category.
Altimate Medical’s Safety Committee worked hard at implementing the recommendations received during our initial assessment and reached their goal of achieving the “Blue” status at our second assessment. Our Safety Committee is made up of five individuals from various departments. Altimate Medical is committed to providing a safe environment and will continue to strive to improve our score year after year.

Altimate medical Standing Hydralic Standing Machine, and I know I spelt Hydraluic wrong! I am in a hurry. I bought a Brand new Altimate Stander about 10 years ago, with the intent to use it on a daily basis, but at the time I had a busy lifestyle. I am now 51 Year Old T-3 Para, and I probably used this stander about 2 dozen times. It is still like brand New, might have some dust on it, and there are no rips or tears in the upolostery. I am in the process of trying to put the money together for a New Tilite ZR Series 2 Custom Chair, and I am a litle short on cash. I know that the exact, or almost exact stander I have sells around the $3000 range, and I would be willing to sell mine for $1000 or best offer, but You would have to pick it upor pay for delivery. I don’t have any pics of it, but now that Spring has arrived I could probably get some people to pull it out of My Pourch and take some pictures of it, but I asure You it is like brand new!
