This month, September 2009, marks the 20th birthday of the EasyStand standing frame! We have some really neat stories coming up both from employees and customers, who have been with us for the long run. Mark Schmitt, Sales and Marketing Director for EasyStand in 1990 will be sharing the history of EasyStand Marketing, and Stacey Frank, Director of Operations (and formerly customer service) will share her view on helping EasyStand customers during her 14 years employed at Altimate Medical. We also have some customer stories from people who have been standing for 15 years and more! I am most excited to share a short story from the founder of Altimate Medical and inventor of the EasyStand, Alan Tholkes. Even though I have heard bits and pieces over the years, Alan’s amazing story of the “Birth of the EasyStand” is funny and inspiring, and makes me proud to be a twelve year veteran of Altimate Medical as well.
