15 Unique Ways to Get Your Standing Time in

Scott stands first thing in the morning before his family wakes up.

1. Stand first thing in the morning like Scott Chesney, “Considering that I am a husband, father & President of my own company, I am a very busy individual. Standing time comes first thing in the morning before any of those titles have to be fulfilled.”

2. Stand for a short period of time, a few times a dayMike Lamb comments, “It’s not a big process to get into my Evolv, it’s fast & easy. Even if dinner is in fifteen minutes, I can still hop in my stander & get some standing time in.”

3. Stand while baking or cookingVicki Price loves to bake, her dad Scott says. “”When baking in the kitchen she likes being up in her stander & working at the same level as mom.”

10. Stand during activities that are normally done sitting down.  At the Northern Virginia Training Center standing is integrated into patients’ daily routine: music group, movie time, ‘strolling’ down the hall to pet therapy, taking a ride on the elevator, etc. There are some lucky individuals who even get to stand at their off site ‘workshop’.

12. Stand while watching TV, maybe a sporting event like Matt Courson, “I plan on standing in my standing frame for the entire 60 minutes of each game on the Razorback schedule!”

    Great article! The more you stand the better it is, and the easier it becomes. All the research indicates that increasing your standing time, and increasing your activity when standing, increases the beneficial affects of standing.
